What to expect after you book a drywall repair

Three-step drywall estimate process from photo to quote

After you get a quote, you pick an open time when one is available, or we follow up to schedule. A deposit holds a booked appointment. If no time is open, you are not charged a deposit until the visit is set.

Before the visit

Clear a path to the wall or ceiling. Move furniture a few feet if you can. You do not need to scrape, sand, or paint anything first.

  1. Keep the damaged area easy to reach
  2. Plan for a little dust, even on a small patch
  3. Ask about paint if the surrounding color is custom

After the patch

The repaired area needs time to dry and blend. Paint match and texture depend on the surface. Your technician will explain what to expect for that hole when the work is done.

FAQ

Do I pay before the visit?

A deposit holds a time you pick online. If we have to call you to schedule, no deposit is due until that visit is set.

Should I paint before you arrive?

No. Leave the damaged area as it is. Painting first can hide the break and make the repair harder to blend.
